Oral Dosage
- Adults & children ≥6 years: 10 mg/day (1 tablet or 2 tsp once daily)

- Children 6 months–2 years: 2.5 mg/day (½ tsp once or every 12 hrs)
Pregnancy (Category B): Use only if clearly needed
Lactation: Passes into breast milk – use with caution
Elderly: Reduced clearance – dose adjustment may be needed
Hepatic/Renal Impairment: Reduced clearance; half-life may double or triple
